UK & EU REACH Compliance Statement

The Barcode Warehouse Limited remains committed to compliance with all applicable chemical regulatory requirements.

UK REACH

Based on information provided by our suppliers, the products we place on the UK market continue to comply with UK REACH requirements. None of the substances currently listed on the UK REACH Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) are present above the applicable regulatory threshold in products supplied under UK REACH.

EU REACH

The Barcode Warehouse recognises its responsibilities under Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (EU REACH) and monitors updates to the SVHC Candidate List published by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).

Following review of supplier information, it has been identified that some products supplied contain Bisphenol S (CAS No. 80‑09‑1) or D8 (CAS No. 95235‑30‑6) at concentrations exceeding 0.1% w/w. Both Bisphenol S and D8 are listed as Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) under EU REACH. The identification of these substances does not imply that they are present in all products supplied by The Barcode Warehouse.

These substances do not restrict the manufacture or placing on the market of the affected products under EU REACH, and the products remain safe for use when used as intended.

Where applicable, information is provided in accordance with Article 33 of the EU REACH Regulation to enable the safe use of articles.
