Have you got what it takes to do things smarter, faster, better? Join a team that’s going places

Armed Forces Covenant Bronze AwardWe started our business in 1986 supplying adhesive labels with a team of just three people. 30 years later we still manufacture labels – but we’ve also evolved and grown into the UK’s leading barcode solutions provider and enterprise mobility experts, working with small businesses and household names all over the world.

Today we’re one of the East Midland’s fastest-growing businesses with a turnover of over £60m, which represents a doubling of our revenues in the last 6 years.. We’re proud to remain an independent, family-run business. And while we’ve grown from three people to over 200, with a third of our team being female, some of our colleagues have been with us from the very beginning.

Working at The Barcode Warehouse

We offer competitive salaries and benefit packages and, as we continue to grow, we’ll make sure you can grow with us. We offer a flexible and supportive working environment, excellent prospects and training, including PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner as well as ITIL (IT Information Library). Many of our colleagues benefit from regular training on the latest technology led by our manufacturer partners. We’re ISO9001 and ISO27001 accredited, which reassures both you and our customers about the quality of our facilities, people, training, service and equipment.

Meet some of our team

Everyone wants to do their job well. Working for us, you’ll want to take that one step further and be the very best at what you do.

Our team has the skills, knowledge and passion to find innovative solutions that put our customers first, helping to create a dynamic, award-winning culture you’ll love working in.

Every year we invite up to 10 young people to join our customer service apprenticeship programme. Over a 12 month period you’ll learn how to communicate properly with customers (by phone and email) resolve problems, improve customer relationships and keep accurate records. We’ll help you develop complimentary technical skills and can also help to improve your English and Maths skills if you achieved less than a Grade C for these subjects at GCSE. As one of our Apprentices you’ll also learn general, essential skills like team working.
