The advanced SATO RFID Line wristband features radio frequency identification with integrated circuit (RFID IC) with a choice of high frequency (HF), ultra-high frequency (UHF) or near field range, catering for multiple situations and scenarios.
The RFID IC can allow patients to be scanned from greater distances - up to 2 meters away with UHF custom wristbands - and in multiple locations if RFID readers are placed in strategic positions around the healthcare facility.
This feature empowers staff who can scan and track patients, infants in incubation units for example, from a distance. In all cases, it makes the patient’s stay more comfortable by removing the need to disturb them when collecting data. The RFID Line NFC can also be used for managing access control for authorized personnel.
