The Labelmate ZCAT Zero-Tension Label Rewinder is the ultimate solution for customers seeking exceptional performance in label management. Designed to meet the needs of colour inkjet printers, particularly those that back feed, and catering to customers with a commitment to print quality, including 300 or 600 dpi applications and RFID printing tasks.
With its adjustable tension on the rubber platen roller, the ZCAT delivers perfectly wound label rolls, making it the top choice for those who subsequently use these labels in automatic label applicators. The quick-locking "Quick-Chuck" feature, which facilitates rapid core and label roll changes. The ZCAT comes standard for use with 76 mm cores but can be customized to fit 38/40/44/70/100 mm cores upon request, giving you the flexibility you need for various applications.
The user-friendly Control Panel allows you to fine-tune settings for torque, speed, and direction, ensuring your labels are managed exactly the way you want them. The ZCAT is equipped with a custom-built, heavy-duty, and silent motor that delivers impressive speed, reaching up to 125 cm/second at the start of a 76 mm core roll.
The ZCAT operates on a power supply ranging from 100-240 V AC at 50 Hz, with an output of 15 V DC at 4.33 A, ensuring efficient and reliable performance. The rewinder comes with a generous limited warranty of 5 years, and a 1-year warranty on the power supply.
- A free-hanging loop of label stock is created between the printer and the Tensioning Roller thereby eliminating all tension on the paper path & printer
- A special chassis-mounted adjustable sensor starts and stops the rewinder based on the optimum depth of the loop
- Large capacity for roll diameters up to 300 mm
- Rubber Platen Roller provides adjustable tension for tight finished rolls
- Handles labels up to 170, 220 or 255 mm wide
- Available in left to right or right to left rewind direction
- Speed up to 125 cm/sec, supporting fastest printers on the market
