Toshiba APLEX4 Print & Apply System

The Toshiba Aplex4 is a high-speed labeling system capable of labeling up to 30 items per minute. It offers versatile application types, including Pressure Apply and Tamp Blow Apply, making it ideal for labeling moving or fragile items with the help of a proximity sensor. The system supports both top and side application. The Toshiba Aplex4 accommodates label sizes ranging from 25x25mm to 148x200mm (with an optional Aplex6 conversion kit for larger labels).

The Applicator arm stroke length is 250mm once clear of the printer (400mm in total). The Aplex4 is designed for precision and flexibility. It operates in two print modes: Dynamic, where each label is a unique print job, or Reprint, which allows for continuous printing of the same label. The system also features dual apply modes, offering the option to print and apply immediately or print and hold the label for later application when triggered.

To function, the Aplex4 requires an air pressure of 4-6 bar and comes equipped with a standard 100x100mm label pad, with other pad sizes available to meet various needs. Whether printing and applying labels in real time or handling them for future use, the Toshiba Aplex4 is an adaptable, high-performance solution for diverse labeling requirements.

Toshiba Aplex 4 Additonal Options:

Larger Label Pads for lager label sizes: 116x150mm, 105x200mm and 148x200mm (Aplex6 only)
Proximity Sensor: Moves label pad to 5mm of item so the label can be tamp blown on without making contact.
Hand Detector: Stops applicator arm if obstruction or operators hand is below he label pad - safety feature
Light Indicator: Shows system status (Green, Amber, Red) Can be seen from a distance.
Support Column: Free standing mount for the Aplex which can be fixed in multiple positions and orientations.
Aplex In/Out Programable: Allows for bi-directional communication with other automated systems such as robots or conveyors.
Vacuum Sensor: Detects label is on pad ready to apply. If the label is missing this will trigger red on light indicator
Horizontal position adjuster: Crank moves Aplex horizontally on support column (no need to adjust any bolts)
Vertical position adjuster: Crank moves Aplex vertically on support column (no need to adjust any bolts)
