The SKX5 is a compact and powerful SmartSled scanning solution designed specifically for use with the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5. With fast and reliable barcode scanning abilities, companion and accessory availability, a rugged IP67 design, and excellent development tools, the SKX5 is the perfect tool for your data collection needs.
The slim design of the SKX Smartsled platform is based on the patented KOAMTAC modular system for SmartSled barcode, RFID, and mPOS sled scanners but has the additional feature of a fully integrated case where the barcode scanner is part of the case solution. This ensures your data will transfer seamlessly to the Galaxy XCover 5 via OTG. You can charge both the SKX5 companion batteries and the Galaxy XCover 5 utilizing a KOAMTAC 1-slot or 5-slot Charging Cradle.
- Designed exclusively for the Galaxy XCover 5 and based on the same modular design as the SKXPro to provide the best barcode scanning experience.
- IP67-rated and has a 5' drop spec. This means the device is dust tight and water resistant - ideal for any environment.
- Impressive scanning performance achieved via the N3601 2D imager scan engine with laser aimer.
- The SKX5 boasts a large number of compatible modular companions including: 0.5W and 1.0W UHF readers, 2000mAh extended battery, pistol grip with optionals, 6000mAh extended battery, and mPOS.
- Keyboard wedging and SKX configuration features are included in the complementary SDK for Android, Xamarin, and Cordova.
