The Evolis R4242 1.0 mil plain laminate ribbon with alternate plain/smart chip cut out is a high quality clear laminate with up to 200 prints per ribbon. This laminate helps protect the cards from fading and general wear and tear. The R4242 is designed for cards with a smart chip, it has a chip cut out so you can laminate the card without covering the chip.
