The Evolis R2139 black wax monochrome ribbon is used for printing text, line art to plastic cards. The black wax ribbon has a different ink composition to standard black monochrome ribbon.
The black wax ribbon enables to print on non-PVC cards such as ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), PET(Polyethylene terephthalate) or paper which are not compatible with the standard black ribbon. This ribbon can be used for single or double sided printing.
