The TA210 Series features two durable gear-driven motors that are capable of handling large-capacity 300-meter ribbons and large rolls of media. (TSC pioneered the use of economically efficient 300-meter ribbons and has employed them in many of its desktop printers since 1996.)
For extra label capacity, users can add an external media unwinder that handles industrial-size 8.4-inch OD rolls, making it less expensive to operate than other desktop printers. The TA210 Series dual gear-driven motors are quieter and last longer than cheap single-motor designs on the market, resulting in a lower cost of ownership than of any its competitors.
The TA210 Series can print a wide variety of labels, ranging from shipping labels to compliance and general-purpose product identification labels and tags, and is ideally suited for use in automobile service shops, walk-in shipping and mail centers, and stock rooms for inventory control. Like all TSC desktop thermal-transfer label printers, the TA210 Series is backed by an industry-best two-year limited warranty
