The Xenon Ultra 1962g 2D Barcode Scanner by Honeywell introduces advanced scanning capabilities, empowering retailers to prioritize productivity and customer service. In today's retail landscape, manoeuvring around POS terminals, conveyors, and customers presents an ongoing challenge for workers. With the streamlined design of modern POS stations, space is limited, making freedom of movement essential. The Xenon Ultra cordless scanner addresses this by eliminating cable management, supporting multiple power sources, including a battery-free supercapacitor or a standard lithium-ion battery, both available in contactless configurations. The battery-free technology utilizes supercapacitors, enabling a rapid full charge in less than four minutes via USB (under 60 seconds with a powered USB port or external wall adapter). With the ability to deliver at least 450 scans per charge, the Xenon Ultra 1962g-BF scanner is ideal for various applications, including self-checkout or as a secondary scanner alongside a bioptic scanner.
- In addition to a green-dot aimer to visibly enhance targeting and improve scan accuracy, the newly engineered and innovative scan platform empowers snappy scanning operations.
- Object Detection (IR): Avoid false scanner wake ups to lower/prevent patient annoyance or disturbances
- Optimized Illumination
- Redesigned housing enables full product gasketing reducing the chance of water and dust ingress. Improved optional magnetic retention enables scanner to stay securely connected to the CCB if deployed in kinetic conditions
- The Xenon Ultra 1962 battery and battery-free is available in a premium contactless version, reducing the number of failed devices due to corrosion.
- The Xenon Ultra 1962 scanner can accept a lithium-ion battery or a battery-free supercapacitor, allowing enterprises to have mixed device pools and flexibility in their fleets.
