Mr. Bill Esterson MP speaking to event attendees

The Barcode Warehouse (TBW) recently hosted another informative and packed-out event at Newton House, home to our flagship Innovation and Customer Experience (ICE) Centre; attracting delegates from top-tier transport and logistics (T&L) companies operating in the UK and further afield and was themed around ‘Innovation and sustainability in last mile delivery’.

Guest speaker, Mr. Bill Esterson MP, Shadow Transport (Roads) Minister, praised The Barcode Warehouse and its ICE Centre, stating “It’s clear what an important event this is and just what a great job The Barcode Warehouse is doing looking after customers and having a facility like this which is a great way of showcasing the fantastic work, the contribution, the opportunities that exist in this space.”

The event, held on 13th March, drew a high-calibre audience from prominent names in the transport and logistics sphere, making networking and discussions particularly interesting. Attendees were blown away by technology demonstrations from event partners’ within the ICE Centre, resulting in bookings to return for a bespoke Solutions Lab.

Attendees were able to get hands-on experiences that included test-driving Maxus electric vans, enlightening speaker sessions featuring industry leaders, immersive technology demonstrations in the ICE Centre, and a sneak peek into the behind-the-scenes of our Managed Service operations.
