Fundraising for Beaumond House and Children's Bereavement Centre!
On Sunday 15th September 2019, Beaumond House and Children's Bereavement Centre charities are working in partnership to host a Dragon Boat Race to raise money. Many local businesses have pledged to fundraise and take part in the race. The Barcode Warehouse will be one of them, with the team ‘Oar We There Yet?’.
We have been fundraising over the last few months and we have almost smashed our £800 target!

Our fundraising has included a bake sale, a raffle and a sweep-stake to decide which fancy dress theme our team will dress as on the day of the event!

Not only will the event be hosting the Dragon Boat Races, there will also be a range of activities available throughout the day for the whole family- so if you’re in the area why not come and cheer on our team!
Who are we raising money for?
Beaumond House Community Hospice is a registered charity that is committed to providing supportive palliative care to patients with life limiting or terminal illnesses and their families living in Newark & the surrounding district since 1987. For more information, please click here.
The Children’s Bereavement Centre was founded to help children between the ages of 3 and 18 deal with the grieving process brought on by the death or terminal illness diagnosis of someone close. For more information, please click here.
