Businesses looking for the next innovation in warehouse mobility to boost warehouse productivity, have just found it: the rugged TC8000. What makes the TC8000 so special? Everything. This groundbreaking, all new warehouse mobile computer was designed from the ground up to increase worker productivity by 14 percent. How? Zebra has minimized the 'tilt and verify' motion required to interact with the device and an application with a new device design and an easy way to transform the legacy Terminal Emulation application into elegant and intuitive all-touch graphical screens without any coding or modifications to a host application.
Since scanning is what workers spend their days doing, users have the choice of two advanced bar code scanners: the 1D SE965 with Adaptive Scanning technology for the widest of working ranges, or the SE4750 imager with our proprietary PRZM Intelligent Imaging for unparalleled performance on just about any type of data. With the TC8000, workers can choose how they want to scan: point to scan, or with Zebra's groundbreaking proximity scanning feature an industry first in a handheld rugged mobile device workers can wear the TC8000 in a hip holster or on a shoulder strap, or place it in a cart mount or desktop mount and simply pass items in front of the TC8000.
When it comes to reliability, the TC8000 is rugged inside and out, built to handle multiple 8 ft./2.4 m drops to concrete, 2,000 consecutive tumbles, jetting water, dust, and extreme temperatures. Users also get the largest battery in this device class, offering triple-shift battery power and extensive battery metrics that make it easy to spot and retire aging batteries. Also, the advanced touch screen enables workers to interact with an application using a gloved or ungloved finger or stylus, complete with pinch-and-zoom and other multi-touch functions. The TC8000 is like adding an extra hour of productivity per worker to the work day.
