The 5 GHz PtMP LTU BaseStation Radio is designed for use in a PtMP environment, working seamlessly with LTU Pro, LTU Lite, or LTU LR clients. It features advanced 5 GHz filtering performance and supports throughput of over 900 Mbps (with firmware version 2.3.0 and later). Capable of handling more than 100 clients, the BaseStation Radio includes a dedicated spectral analysis radio and integrated GPS synchronisation for precise performance and management.

With a processing capability of over 2 million packets per second (Mpps) and proprietary RF filtering, the LTU-ROCKET ensures high-performance connectivity and minimal interference. It supports channel widths ranging from 10 to 50 MHz, allowing for independent transmission and reception frequency configurations that can be adjusted to avoid local interference. The LTU-ROCKET stands out with its remarkable point-to-multi-point performance, offering speeds of over 600 Mbps and the ability to handle up to 64 client connections per access point. It features LTU technology, a cutting-edge advancement that surpasses traditional 802.11 WiFi standards, providing enhanced spectral efficiency and performance. This technology is supported by a custom co-processor designed for future upgrades, ensuring the device remains at the forefront of performance capabilities. The LTU-ROCKET is built for scalability and robustness, making it an excellent choice for wireless internet service providers (WISPs). Its design includes flexible GPS synchronisation and compatibility with a range of Ubiquiti antennas. The radio can be paired with a 5 GHz airMAX Sector or Omni antenna for a complete base station setup. Additionally, multiple LTU-ROCKET units can be used in conjunction with the airPrism 5 GHz 3x30° HD Sector Antenna for co-location deployments, and it is compatible with other LTU CPE devices like the LTU-Pro. This versatile access point provides a comprehensive solution for high-performance, scalable wireless network deployments.
