The Ubiquiti airMAX B-DB-AC is a versatile dual-band bullet AC radio designed for both short and long-distance wireless communications across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz spectrums. This fully integrated, weatherproof radio ensures reliable performance in various outdoor environments. It offers a remarkable throughput capability of up to 300 Mbps, accommodating high-speed data needs effectively. Featuring simultaneous dual-band operation, the B-DB-AC leverages advanced RF analytics and spectral analysis to provide superior network management and performance. It supports passive Power over Ethernet (PoE) for ease of installation and operates with up to 22 dBm of output power. Unlike traditional Wi-Fi protocols, the airMAX B-DB-AC utilizes Ubiquiti’s Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) airMAX ac protocol. This technology schedules data transmission in pre-designated time slots, minimizing hidden node collisions and enhancing airtime efficiency. As a result, the airMAX ac protocol significantly improves latency, noise immunity, scalability, and overall throughput compared to standard systems. With support for dense modulation rates like 256QAM, the airMAX B-DB-AC achieves throughput levels of up to 500 Mbps (with an 80 MHz channel width), offering up to three times the performance of traditional airMAX products. This makes it an exceptional choice for high-demand outdoor networking applications.
