The Motorola MC909X is a technology refresh of the highly successful MC906X. The MC909X is still a MC9000 family product; it is not a next generation product. It extends the MC9000 product life cycle and protects customers' investments in existing MC9000 - accessories, software, training. The MC909X allows the MC9000 to maintain its best-in-class status across key technolgies (OS, processor, WAN, WLAN, security, etc) MC9000 accessories and batteries, are interchangeable with the new MC909X terminals.
