The Labelmate UNI-CAT-CHUCK-270 is a high-performance label rewinder and unwinder designed to make label handling fast, precise, and effortless in demanding printing environments. Built to support labels up to 270 mm wide, it can handle roll diameters up to 300 mm and uses 76 mm cores, making it suitable for standard industrial label rolls. With a maximum roll weight of 10 kg, it is robust enough for continuous production use.
This unit features self-teaching technology, meaning it automatically recognises whether it is being used as a rewinder or unwinder. It also includes auto-speed adjustment, which synchronises perfectly with your printer’s speed, up to 80 cm/s standard and 125 cm/s for high-speed barcode printers ensuring smooth, uninterrupted operation.
Designed for flexibility, it supports bi-directional winding (internal and external) and includes a back-feed function, which is especially useful for colour inkjet and tension-sensitive printers where precise media control is essential.
For consistent roll quality, the unit comes with a paper guide system that keeps labels aligned and tightly wound, eliminating the need for flanges. The Quick-Locking-Chuck system (76 mm x 170 mm standard) allows fast roll changes, with other sizes available if needed.
The soft-touch control panel with LED status indicators makes operation simple and intuitive, while its maintenance-free design ensures long-term reliability in busy production environments.
