Keonn AdvanMux-8 is a high-performance 8-port UHF RFID multiplexer designed to increase the number of antennas connected to a single RFID reader port by a factor of eight. It features SMA (female) connectors and is compatible with a wide range of RFID readers, including models from Keonn, Impinj, Zebra, Alien, and ThingMagic.
The unit connects to a reader's I/O port and is controlled via simple digital commands, enabling efficient synchronisation and flexible antenna selection. It supports both +5 V and open collector digital outputs, with power input ranging from +5 V DC to +48 V DC. AdvanMux-8 can be cascaded using standard Ethernet 8-wire cables via its dual RJ45 ports, allowing one unit to control and power another. It's ideal for RFID systems requiring more than four antennas, such as smart shelves, cabinets, surfaces, and portals.
