The Citizen CL-S400DTII is a high-performance direct thermal printer designed to deliver fast, reliable, and cost-effective printing for labels, tickets, and receipts. Built on Citizen’s proven engineering, this next-generation model enhances usability while maintaining the durability and efficiency its predecessor is known for.
Ideal for demanding environments such as retail, logistics, courier services, transport, kiosks, and ticketing, the CL-S400DTII combines powerful performance with a compact footprint, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of applications.
With print speeds of up to 200 mm per second (8-inches per second) and a maximum print width of 4-inch (104 mm), the CL-S400DTII desktop printer delivers crisp, consistent output at 203 dpi resolution. It supports both roll and fanfold media, offering flexibility for various ticketing and labelling needs.
Ease of use is further enhanced by a 2-colour LCD control panel, which enables intuitive configuration and provides clear status updates, including instant visual alerts for errors. The printer also features fully adjustable media sensors for gap, notch, and black mark detection, ensuring accurate and reliable printing across different media types.
Connectivity is seamless thanks to standard USB and serial interfaces, with a wide range of optional interfaces including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (with Apple MFi compatibility), and parallel connectivity. Additionally, Cross-Emulation™ technology allows automatic switching between Zebra® and Datamax® emulations, simplifying integration into existing systems.
Designed with efficiency in mind, the CL-S400DTII includes an integrated power supply for a cleaner workspace, low energy consumption with ENERGY STAR® compliance, and environmentally friendly packaging.
