Team TBW takes on local litter challenge in Festive Picker tradition
It was litter pickers at the ready recently when a volunteer crew from TBW set forth on the annual Christmas clean-up around Brunel Road here in Newark.
As ever we did it in true festive style wearing Santa hats, elf ears, Xmas pud hat and some reindeer antlers🎅
With our specialist kit kindly donated by Newark & Sherwood Council, we collected 10 bags of rubbish – from plastic bottles to tin cans – all helping to keep local streets and green spaces clean, protect wildlife and reduce pollution.
Huge thanks to our very own Alison Roberson for organising the volunteers and organising the festive litter pick again, a TBW tradition that’s all about community spirit and fulfilling our sustainability pledge.
