TBW Showcases Apprenticeship Opportunities at Future First Expo 2025

A rewarding day for team TBW today with Paul Hilton and Rachel Seneschall from our HR team out and about supporting the 7th Annual Future First Expo, hosted by @Newark & Sherwood District Council.

Some 1,000 students in year 10,11,12 and 13 from schools across Newark, Sherwood and Lincoln gathered at The Lady Eastwood Centre at Newark Showground for the highly anticipated 7th Future First Careers Expo.

Paul Hilton and Rachel ere there showcasing TBW’s apprenticeship scheme and speaking with students about the opportunities available with us.

Paul and Rachel said: “It was fantastic to meet so many young people exploring their next steps and to share how apprenticeships can open the door to a rewarding career at TBW. We’re definitely looking forward to seeing some of today’s conversations grow into future careers.”

The Annual Future First Expo was set up in 2017 by Newark and Sherwood District Council in partnership with the Lincoln College Group and Newark Advertiser and continues to provide young people with the knowledge and resources they need to make informed decisions about their future.

This year, alongside The Barcode Warehouse, employers such as Duncan, Toplis, Skanska, RWE, the British Armed Forces and the Police Service took part, along with education providers including Newark College, the University of Nottingham, Nottingham Trent University and West Notts College.
