Our Jo Lee - all set to go the distance for SSAFA in the 2025 TCS London Marathon
We’re incredibly proud to share that our Jo Lee - TBW’s HR and Customer Services Director - is taking on the 2025 TCS London Marathon on 27 April 2025 to raise money for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
With a personal fundraising target of £2,500, Jo, is currently in training and drawing on years of experience in endurance sports participation events – including ultra-marathons and long-distance bike rides – to prepare for the iconic London Marathon.
“I feel honoured to be representing SSAFA at the London Marathon,” Jo said.
“The charity plays a crucial role in helping the Armed Forces community and it’s a privilege to support their mission,” she added.
Already well into her training, Jo is no stranger to pushing her limits, having taken on a variety of epic physical challenges over the years. With more than her fair share of gruelling endurance events under her belt, she admits to loving - albeit in a love/hate kind of way - every minute of it. From ultra-marathons in the Lake District and Scotland to endurance bike rides through France and Belgium, Jo tackles challenges that would make most people's legs ache just thinking about them.
The 2025 TCS London Marathon will be held on 27 April (the day before her Birthday) We’ll all be cheering Jo every step of the way!
