Newark Business Award Winners 2015
The Barcode Warehouse becomes double winners at the Newark Business Awards 2015!
Monday 7th December saw The Barcode Warehouse honoured to win two awards at the Newark Business Awards 2015. The first award was for ‘Excellence in Business’ (Large) which was a real achievement in its own right, but the highlight was to win the main award of the night ‘Business of the Year 2015’!
Managing Director Kevan Mutton said “Whilst the local recognition is great news for our company, it’s down to all of our people who have helped to make the Barcode Warehouse the business it is today. The last 12 months have been challenging and exciting, as we continue to achieve our growth plans, so a big thank you to everyone who have helped to make a difference.”
The Newark Business Awards are designed to celebrate the many successful and vibrant businesses and business people in the Newark area and, over more than a decade, have become the benchmark by which local business success can be measured.
The night itself was a glittering black tie occasion when the cream of local business gets together to celebrate each other’s success.
There were a selection of awards including; Apprentice of the Year, Employee of the Year and Successful New Business. The room was full of excitement, dedication and nerves, a varied amalgamation of talent, ambition and raw will-power that make up the vast selection of nominees.
Managing Director, Kevan Mutton, was doubly surprised as The Barcode Warehouse were announced as the winners of the Business of the Year award 2015. Along with 5 other employees, including Customer Service Director Joanne Lee, Finance Director Richard Staniforth, Commercial Director Mark Emslie, Mark Duignan and Salim Hadjoudj took to the stage to receive the award!
