Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

For the purposes of these terms and conditions, the terms “you” and “your” shall be taken to mean the entrant into the prize draw and the terms  “we”, “our” and  “us” shall be taken to mean The Barcode Warehouse Limited.

1. These terms and conditions the prize draw which is open to entrants who are UK residents, over the age of 18 and who have completed the online survey entitled “The Barcode Warehouse Mobile Technology in Business Survey” (the “Survey”) following receipt of an invitation to do so via social media or a direct email with a link to the survey and clicked the “submit” button on the survey.
2. You are automatically entered into this free prize draw upon clicking the “submit” button on the Survey and by doing so are deemed to have hereby accepted and acknowledge these terms and conditions, to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions and confirm that you are eligible to do so in accordance with these terms and you are eligible to claim any prize you may win.
3. This prize draw is free to enter and is being operated by The Barcode Warehouse Limited.
4. Any employees of The Barcode Warehouse Limited, their families, agencies or any other company directly connected with the administration of this promotion who may submit the survey are excluded from entering the prize draw.
5. All entries must be received by 17:00 GMT on 3rd June 2024.
6. Any submissions of the Survey which are submitted after the date and time directly above or are incomplete or illegible shall not be entered into the free prize draw, however, any answers and information submitted through the completion of the Survey may still be used by the Barcode Warehouse in accordance with these terms and conditions.
7. The prize is a digital Amazon UK voucher to the sum of £100.00.
8. Our use of any particular brand or product as a prize in such a prize draw does not imply any affiliation or otherwise endorsement of any such brand or product.
9. The winner shall be drawn by us at random.
10. Upon selection of the winning entry, we shall email the winner at the email address included on their entry and request details of where the prize shall be issued and any other information which the Barcode Warehouse may reasonably require. If there is no response to the email within seventy-two (72) hours, the winner is deemed to have automatically forfeited the prize and any claim to the prize whatsoever and we shall draw another winner at random without any further notice.
11. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
12. The prize is subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute prized with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
13. Please allow 14 days following receipt of information from the winning entry, for delivery of the prize or alternative collection or delivery arrangements may be made through mutual agreement. We accept no responsibility for any delays in the delivery of the prize due to supply issues or any other unforeseen circumstances.
14. For the avoidance of doubt, the Barcode Warehouse does not provide any form of practical or IT support for this prize.
15. Our decision regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
16. By completing the Survey you accept, acknowledge and consent that:
    a) any information, data or intellectual property provided in your answers to the Survey become our property and we may use, extrapolate, modify, present, re-design and create derivatives of any such information, including any intellectual property therein, in any way we so wish. 
    
    b) any personal information you provide in completing the Survey may be used by us solely for the purposes of administering the prize draw, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice as found here. 
    
    c) the winner’s name, company name and company logo may be used to announce winner by us on our social media posts and any other media which we may wish to use. 
    
17. By completing and submitting the Survey, you hereby automatically opt in to receive email correspondence from us informing you of products and services that may be of interest to you, from time to time. You may unsubscribe to this email correspondence at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in the emails.
18. By completing and submitting the survey you hereby provide us with an irrevocable, royalty free, non—transferrable licence to use any intellectual property in any information provided and your company’s logo and branding to the extent required and envisaged by these terms and conditions.
19. We accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever, for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize, including but not limited to for claims arising out of any entries not received, or for undelivered or delayed messages which were unable to be sent or received due to technical failure or any other reason beyond its control. We do not exclude our liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence.
20. We reserve the right to remove a participant from the prize draw if we have reasonable cause to believe that the participant has acted or is acting fraudulently, illegally or in an unauthorised manner or is not eligible to enter into the prize draw as set out in these terms and conditions and to also cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice to any entrants.
21. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
22. These terms and conditions and this prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
