The Barcode Warehouse, in partnership with Honeywell, has delivered Evri with an All-in-One Kiosk Solution that has increased customer satisfaction and decreased retailer carbon footprint. 

The users needed a speedy and uncomplicated experience in the shop while the shopkeeper requires the least intrusion on their counter space, so we developed a unit with the smallest footprint but the greatest ease of use. The resulting Honeywell PC43K, with its big screen, built in QR code scanner and payment device occupying only the footprint of its desktop label printer, meets all these needs.

The Barcode Warehouse, in partnership with Honeywell, has supported Pall-Ex with updating legacy Windows devices to Android, and supported with the NexusScan project delivering a new forklift truck hub scanning application to the business.

The resulting Honeywell Thor VM3 vehicle-mounted computer and Honeywell CK65 mobile device products has led to reduced inefficiencies and pick errors and an improvement in worker productivity and visibility. Watch the video and learn how Pall-Ex have implemented the solution here.

Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is a large acute NHS Trust situated in Kingston upon Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. The hospital receives approximately one million patients annually, which brings pressures on teams and budgets. The Bradfords Group, one of the largest independent supplier of building materials in the U.K., needed a more comprehensive telematics solution for its commercial delivery fleet. To support its goal of delivering first-class, responsive customer service, the company was seeking a way to better monitor vehicle location, and improve driver behaviour and overall safety. Together Housing is responsible for the safety of all its tenants and must annually inspect and service the gas boilers and gas fires across all its properties. At the end of each inspection a form is completed by the engineer via a mobile phone app and sent back to their office to be checked and printed out as a statutory CP12 certificate. The CP12 must then be posted to the tenant within 28 days. 

As well as being time-consuming and expensive, any errors discovered on the CP12 once it’s printed require a new inspection to be made. Together Housing’s Property Manager (Gas), Bill Atkins needed a faster, more efficient and error-free system – without compromising tenant safety.
