The Role

To assist in the day-to-day provisioning, deployment and recovery of Apple and Android based handheld devices, label printers and accompanied accessories under project conditions for existing and new customers, and to deliver work to a consistent high quality.

Hours

The shift pattern for this role is 09:30-18:00 Monday to Friday, with some requirement to work Saturday mornings on rotation. The contracted hours for this role are 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

To carry out day to day provisioning and deployment work set by your Shift Leader, and work within a set criteria that will be measured and monitored to ensure the required quality levels. You will need to provide high quality service to both internal and external customers and ensure that your own KPIs are being achieved.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provisioning and configuration of handheld devices based on specific customer software
  • Managing and entering information into an Internet based asset management system
  • Follow strict processes to ensure the efficient operation and quality compliance of the department, based on specific customer needs
  • Unpack, check, and perform basic goods in tasks on incoming customer stock
  • Stock control duties which include Audits and QA checks
  • Undertake training as required
  • Pack, check, and ship orders
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas Contribute to ensuring a safe working environment for co-workers and visitors

Required Competence/Skills

  • A good level of IT/Computer skills
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • A desire to learn
  • Good standards of written and spoken English are essential for this role
  • Team player, you will be working with others within a small team

Desired Competence/Skills

  • Good understanding of Android or Apple based handheld Devices
  • Full UK drivers licence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £23,795.00 per year
