Purpose
As the Partner Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives and campaigns to support our partners’ success through collaboration with internal teams (Sales, Technology & Innovation Team, Key Account Managers) and external partners (Approved Partners).
You will work closely with these stakeholders to develop go-to-market strategies that that drive product sales of our Approved Partners’ solutions.
You’ll also support the Head of Marketing Communications in the ongoing development of the Partner marketing strategy.
You’ll be the key contact between the Partners’ own marketing teams and our internal teams ensuring we’re maximising opportunities to drive revenue through Partner product sales.
We are seeking a charismatic and organised individual who excels in collaboration and communication. The ideal candidate will bring creative ideas and strong copywriting skills to the table as part of the wider marketing team.
Success in this role will come from strong collaboration across internal and external stakeholders and the effective alignment of both businesses’ objectives, all translating into creative and impactful marketing campaigns.
Core Responsibilities
- Managing the relationships with our partners to understand their marketing strategies, plus their product development and launch roadmaps
- Responsible for budget tracking, deliverable management, and reporting on program effectiveness
- Owning the vendor marketing campaign plan for the year
- Inputting into the wider Partner marketing strategy, to include both how we work with our partners, and also how our partner programme feeds into our own wider brand messaging
- Working with partners to find creative ways to put compelling messages in front of targeted audiences to promote and sell their products
- Delivery of planned and well-coordinated multi-channel product marketing campaigns
- Being an authority in the business as regards our partners and our promotional plan
- Aligning internal teams in the delivery of campaigns to ensure the sales process is executed as effectively as possible
Essential experience
- Experience of creating creative, collaborative marketing campaigns
- Experience of managing multiple stakeholder relationships
- Using CRM systems (ideally HubSpot) to design and build targeted campaigns
- Designing and copy writing email marketing campaigns
- Delivering multi-channel campaigns (traditional and digital channels)
- Delivering effective product led promotions and marketing campaigns
- Working with sales teams to align campaigns to sales efforts
Desirable experience
- Report creation and insight gathering through Google Analytics
- Negotiating and dealing with partners or other third parties to create collaborative marketing campaigns
- Basic SEO principals and the creation of SEO optimised content
- Creating and managing PPC campaigns
- Using a CMS and updating content on a website
- Experience in B2B marketing, ideally within the technology sector
