The Zebra DS4678-DPE cordless barcode scanner has been designed for electronics and light industrial manufacturing applications, capturing not only 1D and 2D barcodes, but also tiny and dense laser etched DPM codes on plastic and metal subcomponents, as well as ink mark, chemical etch, inkjet mold and thermal spray. With a wide decode range, the DS4678-DPE captures both tiny and high-density barcodes, both closer and further away than the average general-purpose scanner.
The Bluetooth cordless technology within the DS4678-DPE comes with a variety of features, such as Wi-Fi Friendly Mode, reducing Bluetooth interference on Wi-Fi networks, and Zebra’s Virtual Tether, which alerts users when a scanner is taken out of range, misplaced or left out of the cradle for an extended period, minimising the risk of lost scanners.
With two cradles to choose from – standard or presentation cradles, that can be mounted to a variety of areas, the DS4678-DPE can be placed where it’s needed most.
