Do I have to order over the internet?
No. You may place your order either via the internet or alternatively over the phone by contacting sales on 01636 602000.
What payment methods do you accept?
When placing your order online or over the phone we accept payment via:
- Visa
- Visa Delta
- MasterCard
- Switch/Maestro
- American Express
If you do not have a credit/debit card we can send you a pro forma invoice and you can send payment by cheque.
For business customers looking to place regular orders with The Barcode Warehouse we do offer credit accounts with 30 day payment terms subject to status.
Can I place an order from abroad?
Unfortunately we cannot accept orders from overseas, as we cannot provide the level of delivery service abroad we pride ourselves on at home, at this time.
We do however hope to offer this service in the near future.
What do I do if I want to make a complaint?

What happens if the product I receive is faulty or not what I ordered?
In the event that you receive a product which is not in accordance with your order, please contact us to obtain an RMA number and return it within 7 working days, starting from the first working day after you receive the good, and we will give you a full refund within the next 30 days. Likewise, if you receive an order that is faulty, we will be happy to give you a full refund or send out a replacement, if you return the item within 7 working days from receipt of the good(s).

You will be responsible for the item or items until they reach us. For your own protection, we suggest you use a secure delivery method that requires a signature upon delivery such as Royal Mail First Class (Recorded Delivery). Please remember that you must call to obtain an RMA number before sending the product back.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
How do I know that my order is secure?
The safety of your credit/debit card details is guaranteed when you shop at The Barcode Warehouse. We use the Barclaycard system to process our credit/debit card orders – their secure server uses the latest measures to protect your security with 128-bit SSL software to encrypt your credit/debit card information when you place an order.
When you click on the 'Proceed' button you will see that the address changes to https://secure2.epdq.co.uk/ followed by a very long series of characters. The https:// part of this address indicates that you are now on a secure server and it is further confirmed by the padlock logo (or key) appearing at the bottom right hand side of your web browser.
How do I know that my order has been received?
After you have placed your order you will automatically receive an ‘Order Acknowledgement ‘ email from us. This email will confirm your full order details including your order number and the current status of your order.
When will my order be delivered?
When the item is in stock, your order will be despatched and you should receive your order the following working day. Some products take a few days to come from our suppliers, as indicated by the availability on each product page, so please allow the relevent lead-time for your product to be despatched.
How much will delivery cost?
Orders over £100 ex VAT qualify for FREE delivery to any UK mainland destination.
All items are sent out on a next day service providing that they are in stock and that the order is placed before 4pm.
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 5:30pm.

What information of mine do you keep?
The type of information we will collect about you includes:

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us at privacy@thebarcodewarehouse.co.uk. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
What happens to my personal information once I have given it to you?
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings. The Barcode Warehouse does not currently use any “cookies” except session-based ones, but we may choose to use them in the future.

Will I start getting junk emails after giving you my personal information?
The Barcode Warehouse is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
The Barcode Warehouse does not currently sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. We may choose to do so in the future with trustworthy third parties, but you can opt out of this by sending an email to privacy@thebarcodewarehouse.co.uk (If you use more than one e-mail address to shop with us, send this message from each e-mail account you use).
