Opticon PHL8112

The rugged PHL8112 features an integrated 1D scan engine and a full color 3.5-inch TFT display, with an alphanumeric keypad. Wireless communication occurs via Bluetooth and WLAN.

The PHL8112 is part of the PHL8000 series consisting of ruggedized PDA-like terminals, equipped with Windows CE 5.0. All terminals in this range have several wireless communication options. WLAN and Bluetooth are standard available on the PHL8000 series. Two models are also equipped with GPRS and EDGE. Additional, the serial connector provides the option to use a communication cable.

The PHL8000 series is sealed up to IP 65 standards and withstand drops of up to 1.5 meter onto concrete. The physical design of these terminals offers a convenient balance for user operation with a graphic LCD display and keypad with backlight, providing excellent viewing in dim or bright lighting. The series supports two different keypad variations (alphanumeric and full keypad), with non-erasable keys and two different scan engines (barcode laser scanner and 2D CMOS imager).

With the 2200mAh battery (or high capacity 4000 mAh battery) and the high performance processor, the PHL8000 series can run heavy applications. The wide range of accessories and optional functionalities enable optimal use of the product.
